How We Work
- Community Empowerment: Provide modern fishing equipment and cold chain infrastructure increasing yields by up to 40%.
- Cooperatives: Supported 80+ fishing cooperatives across coastal states.
- Market Access: Link communities to international markets for tuna, lobster, and grouper.
- Policy & Governance: Provide technical assistance on fisheries strategies and marine spatial planning.
- Blue Economy Advocacy: Organize national roundtables and promote aquaculture.
- Marine Sovereignty: Combat IUU fishing costing Somalia $300M annually through community surveillance and advocacy.
Where We Work
- Somalia: Puntland, Galmudug, Southwest, Jubaland, and Hirshabelle—with direct community interventions in Mogadishu, Barawe, Kismayu, Eyl, Hobyo, Warsheikh, and Marka.
