Our Approach
CPD addresses foundational needs through integrated programming in food security and livelihoods, WASH, health and nutrition, and education tackling the underlying causes of hunger, malnutrition, and vulnerability.
How We Work
- Food Security & Livelihoods: Promote food autonomy through production, income, and market access coordinating with nutrition, WASH, and health interventions.
- WASH: Provide safe water, sanitation, and hygiene promotion reducing disease and improving health outcomes.
- Health & Nutrition: Strengthen health systems, address acute/chronic malnutrition, and support maternal/child health.
- Education: Expand access to quality education especially for marginalized children, girls, and displaced communities.
Where We Work
- Somalia: All federal member states Galmudug, Hirshabelle, Jubbaland, South West, Puntland, and Banadir reaching rural, peri-urban, and urban communities with integrated, needs-based programming.
- Somaliland: Water-insecure communities across Burao, Odweine, Sheikh, Ainabo, El-Afwein, and Erigavo
Our Goal
