CPD is committed to being Accountable to Affected Persons (AAP) and this is manifested in its internal policies and procedures that ensure our decision-making processes are more inclusive, more transparent and offer more opportunities for people affected by crisis to be in the driving seat of the decisions that affect their lives. We aim to make all voices count and create a two-way feedback system between CPD and the affected persons it serves in order to make our aid delivery more responsive and efficient. We deliberately strive to systematically engage the most marginalized groups in our feedback system to ensure that their views are reflected in all aspects of the response including assessment, design, delivery and monitoring and evaluation
Beyond its internal system, CPD has taken a step further in advocating and promoting the actualization of the AAP principle by organizations delivering humanitarian assistance in Somalia through partnering and hosting LOOP – which is a digital feedback system.
